About Coach Chuck

At the heart of Nexus BJJ is Coach Chuck, who has been immersed in the world of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu since 2013. Coach Chuck has a deep passion for teaching Jiu-Jitsu, for him it's more than just technique; it's about fostering growth, both on and off the mats. Born and raised in Montana, Chuck spent over a decade in Washington State learning Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. His dedication culminated in receiving his black belt from James Weed in 2023. We are proud to be affiliated with Walter Cascão, bringing proven techniques and passion to the Flathead Valley. Coach Chuck brings his wife Savannah, also a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and 3 daughters back home to create a community here in the Kalispell area.
